What would you suggest if I’ve never played pickleball before?

Welcome!  Firstly, you might like to check out the rules of pickleball. Then come join us for one of our introductory sessions, they are designed especially for ‘first-timers’ just like you. Book Here.

What do I need to bring to my coaching session?

A smile, and also please wear tennis or multi-sport shoes (no running shoes) if possible. Also bring a water bottle, and if outdoors a hat and sunscreen as required.

How do I schedule my pickleball coaching session?

Step 1: Pick your preferred coaching program, Private Coaching, Group Coaching or Weekly Training Programs. Step 2: Select session availability, date and time with your details. Step 3: Receive your confirmation with all your coaching session info

What if, for outdoor, there are bad weather conditions or it rains?

If you do not get a call, text, or email, please presume the lesson is going ahead as normal. Otherwise, your coach will contact you via phone, text or email to let you know if your outdoor pickleball coaching session will be cancelled or moved to an indoor venue due to weather conditions. All cancelled sessions by us (PCA) will be rescheduled or refunded by mutual agreement.

Do you have a pickleball paddle demo program?

We want to make sure you are delighted with your new pickleball paddle and get the right one for you. That’s why we can provide a demo paddles program at many of our coaching venues. Also if it suits you, you can demo paddles during any of your coaching sessions. So contact us for more info on our demo sessions.

How much is shipping and delivery?

Postage is FREE for Australian purchases over $150* (*Nets excluded). Otherwise, a standard fee of $15 is added on all other purchases shipped within Australia. If you are a current Pickleball Coaching Australia (PCA) player, we can happily have your order delivered to your coaching session.

Can I play pickleball without any racquet sports experience?

Sure, that’s why pickleball is so great for all standards and ages. It’s so easy to learn, you’ll be playing within minutes. But it can be challenging to really master. That said any sports background will certainly help your learning curve.

What if I don’t have a pickleball paddle yet?

We can provide you all the pickleball equipment you need including demo pickleball paddles, but please let them know in advance.  Also if interested, check out our online pickleball shop.

How do I know what level of pickleball player I am?

No real need to worry about that right now. Anyway, when the need arises, your coach can help determine that for you. Also, check out resources on pickleball rating.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel my pickleball coaching session?

Coaching session rescheduling or cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance otherwise the full coaching fees with be applied for private and group pickleball coaching sessions. Due to the nature of the group sessions cancellations or no shows can’t be refunded, but as a courtesy please notify your coach for lesson structure and planning purposes.

How can I make sure I get the right pickleball paddle for me?

First, demo our paddles. Rest assured we pride ourselves on making sure you are happy by customising the ideal paddle set-up for you. We can specially order your paddle style, shape, grip size, handle length, weight and/or colour.
